Sustainable Packaging Design
We incorporate an average of 30.1% recycled PET content in our packaging, leading the industry in this area.
In addition, we transform bottle caps and labels into crates used to transport returnable bottles.
Recycling Chain Development
In Mexico, we lead the world’s largest food-grade PET recycling plant, PetStar, along with a nationwide collection network that produces recycled resin using clean energy, with internationally recognized safety and circularity standards [C2C Certification].
Through PetStar and other initiatives across the five countries where we operate, we recover more than 75% of the bottles we place on the market.
With inclusive recycling programs such as "Development, Environment, and Recycling" (DAR) in partnership with Ecuador's National Recyclers Network (RENAREC) and the "PetStar Inclusive Collection Model" (MAIP), we promote fair working conditions and the development of thousands of waste collection partners.
